Terms of sale
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Sale (the "Terms") govern every purchase made on www.grandelilith.com. "Grande Lilith" is a registered trademark of Leevde, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with share capital of €1,000.00, headquartered at 1 rue de Stockholm, 75008 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 925 298 440. By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this contract.
2. Placing an order
Orders are placed online in the following steps: select your items and add them to the cart, review your order summary (items, price, shipping), enter your details and delivery address, choose a payment method, then confirm the order — which constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
Before final confirmation, you can review your order in full and correct any errors. The sale is concluded when payment is authorized. A confirmation email summarizing your order is sent to you shortly afterward. Product offers are valid while displayed on the site and within available stock; if an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will let you know and refund you without delay.
3. Product authenticity and natural variation
3.1 The nature of pearls
Because pearls — and baroque pearls in particular — are organic gems, every piece is unique. Natural variations in shape, luster, surface texture, and overtone are not manufacturing defects: they are the signature of authenticity. By placing an order, you acknowledge that the piece you receive may differ slightly from the photographs shown.
3.2 Materials and safety
Our jewelry is made of sterling silver and 18-karat gold plating. We comply with European and North American standards on nickel and lead content. Although our pieces are designed with sensitive skin in mind, we recommend checking the material composition if you have a known metal allergy.
4. Prices, taxes, and customs duties
4.1 Pricing by region
- European Union and France: prices are displayed inclusive of all taxes (VAT included).
- North America (United States and Canada): prices are displayed exclusive of tax. Applicable state or provincial sales taxes are calculated and added at checkout, based on your delivery address.
Items are billed at the price in effect when your order is confirmed. Leevde may change its prices at any time for future orders.
4.2 Our DDP commitment (duties and taxes included)
Grande Lilith ships on a DDP basis (Delivered Duty Paid). Leevde covers all international customs duties and import taxes. The price shown at checkout is final: the carrier will never ask you to pay anything extra on delivery.
5. Payment and security
- Direct payment: we accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Shopify Payments.
- Installments: buy-now-pay-later options are offered through our partners where available for your country at checkout.
- Security: every transaction is encrypted. Grande Lilith never stores complete payment card details.
Payment is due in full at the time of order.
6. Delivery, transfer of ownership, and risk
6.1 Delivery zones and timing
We ship to metropolitan France, the European Union, the United States, and Canada. Processing and delivery times by destination, along with applicable charges, are detailed in our Shipping Policy and shown again at checkout. Standard shipping is free on orders over €79. Unless otherwise stated, delivery takes place no later than thirty (30) days after your order is confirmed.
6.2 Ownership and risk
Ownership of the products passes to you once your order is paid in full. Risk of loss or damage passes when you, or a third party you designate, take physical possession of the item.
6.3 Receiving your order
For higher-value pieces, we recommend the signature-on-delivery option. If the carrier shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, contact us right away: in line with Article L216-6 of the French Consumer Code, we will open an investigation with the carrier.
7. Returns — 30 days
7.1 One single 30-day window
The French Consumer Code (Articles L221-18 et seq.) gives you a 14-day cooling-off period from delivery to return your order without giving any reason. Grande Lilith contractually extends that period to thirty (30) days, on the same terms.
Every piece qualifies — earrings included, sale items included. Nothing we sell is final sale, and we never charge restocking fees.
7.2 How to return a piece
To start a return, notify us of your decision by email at hello@grandelilith.com, through your customer account, or using the model form in Section 7.5. No prior approval is needed. You then have fourteen (14) days to send the piece back to:
Grande Lilith — Returns, 1 Rue de Stockholm, 75008 Paris, France.
You're welcome to try the jewelry on, just as you would in a store. If a piece shows signs of handling beyond a normal try-on, a deduction reflecting its diminished value may be applied to your refund (Article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code).
7.3 Refunds
We refund everything you paid, including your original standard shipping cost, no later than fourteen (14) days after we receive the item or your proof of shipment, whichever comes first. Refunds go back to the payment method used at checkout. If you chose a shipping option more expensive than standard, the difference is not refunded.
7.4 Return shipping
Return shipping is at your expense, unless we made an error or the item is defective (see Section 8). We recommend a tracked service: Leevde cannot refund a return lost in transit without proof of drop-off. If you're exchanging, we'll issue store credit to offset your return shipping once the return is processed.
Full practical details are set out in our Return & Refund Policy.
7.5 Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To Leevde, 1 rue de Stockholm, 75008 Paris, France — hello@grandelilith.com:
I hereby give notice that I am withdrawing from my contract of sale for the following item(s): — Ordered on / received on: … — Order number: … — Customer name: … — Customer address: … — Date: … — Signature (only if this form is submitted on paper): …
8. Legal warranties
Independently of any commercial warranty and of our return policy, you benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). To invoke either, contact hello@grandelilith.com; return shipping is then covered by Leevde.
Statutory notice required by Article D211-2 of the French Consumer Code (translated from the French):
The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to invoke the legal warranty of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During that period, the consumer only needs to establish that the defect exists, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal warranty of conformity requires the seller, where applicable, to provide everything necessary for the use of the goods.
A consumer invoking the legal warranty of conformity may choose between repair and replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions set out in Article L217-12 of the French Consumer Code.
If the goods are not repaired or replaced, the consumer may obtain a price reduction or cancellation of the contract under the conditions set out in Articles L217-14 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
The consumer also benefits from the legal warranty against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This warranty entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund upon returning the goods.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Grande Lilith site is the exclusive property of Leevde. Any unauthorized use of our trademarks, text, or visuals is strictly prohibited and may constitute infringement.
10. Consumer mediation
Under Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to refer any dispute with Leevde, free of charge, to a consumer mediator with a view to amicable resolution. You must first have attempted to resolve the dispute directly with our customer service team through a written complaint.
Leevde's appointed consumer mediator is:
CM2C — Centre de médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice Postal address: 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France Website: https://www.cm2c.net Online referral: https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php
A referral to the mediator is admissible only if the written complaint was sent to Leevde less than one year earlier, the dispute is not manifestly unfounded, and it has not already been examined by another mediator or by a court.
11. Limitation of liability
Leevde cannot be held liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of its products. Leevde's total liability for any claim will not exceed the purchase price of the item concerned. These provisions apply without prejudice to the legal warranties and mandatory rights you hold as a consumer.
12. Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may bring the matter before the competent courts under ordinary jurisdictional rules, subject to the mandatory jurisdiction protections that apply to consumers. These Terms are drafted in French; in the event of any discrepancy with a translation, the French version prevails.
The Leevde commitment
We stand behind every piece of jewelry we bring into the world. These Terms exist to protect the integrity of our craft while respecting the intelligence and independence of our customers.
